Misc Invoices (A/R)

Misc Invoices (A/R) allows users to post miscellaneous invoices for non-inventory items, create debit accounts, and post them for accounts receivable.

Navigate to Expense Management à Misc Invoices (A/R). The Misc Invoices (A/R) page appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field

Description

Details

Customer

The name of the customer.

P.O#

The purchase order number associated with the invoice.

Invoice#

The unique invoice number by the supplier. If the user did not receive an invoice, enter the bill of lading or packing slip number.

Debit Account

The accounts receivable account as defined in Setup àAccount à Chart of Accounts.

Debit Department

The name of the debit department as defined in Setup à Hierarchy à Departments. This field provides the means to track expenses by department when transferring goods (transfer out) to specific Customers defined as internal.

Post Date

The date of posting of the Account Receivable miscellaneous invoice.

Terms

The payment terms such as vendor bills.

Due Date

The due date based on the payment terms.

Remarks

Optional text field.

Totals

Invoice Total

The total amount from the invoice received with the order.

Credit Total

The total amount to be credited.

Undistributed

The unreconciled amount of the transaction. It is the difference between the Invoice Total and the Credit Total.

Click Post to post the accounts receivable invoice.

OR

Click Print and Post print and post the accounts receivable invoice.

OR

Click Cancel to cancel the created invoice.
